As Lanser launches it’s Friends to Neighbours referral program – we sat down with Daisy whose sister Sally lives just around the corner from her at Aspire!
Lanser: Tell us how close you are as sisters – did you ever expect you’d be neighbours as well as sisters?
Daisy: We are extremely close and have been our whole lives, so deciding to live close together came as no surprise!
L: So who moved to Aspire first? And what made you choose this as the place to build your home?
D: My husband and I moved to Aspire first, almost 2 years ago. We knew we wanted to stay within the Gawler area for family, and Aspire stood out to us because of its great sense of community – having a school near by, and playgrounds. Aspire is a community we can look to settle in at and grow as a family.
L: When was the last time you guys lived near each other – was it in your family home?
D: We’ve always lived in Gawler so have always been within a small distance of one another, but this will be the closest we have lived together since our childhood home!

L: What made you recommend Aspire as a place to live to your sister?
D: Overall, Aspire is a beautiful place to live. Neighbours are friendly, and look out for one another, everyone greets eachother when out for a walk, it’s a safe space. It’s nice to know that your family is living in an overall great community.
L: How long have you both been living here for now?
D: I moved in approximately 2 years ago now, and my sister will commence her house build very soon!
L: Where did you both move from?
D: We both came from Gawler/Willaston area
L: What are some of the benefits of having a sister living around the corner?
D: If I’m bored at home, or am craving some snacks, she can be at my house within the minute!!!
L: What do you both love most/looking forward to most about life at Aspire?
D: Growing up further together, and starting families of our own in a community focused estate
L: Do you feel like Aspire and Gawler in general has a good sense of community?
D: Absolutely, everyone rally’s together as a team and keeps our community safe, involved and informed!
L: What are some of the other ways you’ve helped each other out over the years?
D: We’ve always been there for eachother, when it comes to helping put the bins out, assisting in colour selections and house designs, any advice in general! Can’t forget carpool!
L: What would you say to friends thinking of moving to Aspire?
D: Great investment. It’s a place where you would be comfortable raising a family, or enjoy having plenty of social events with your neighbours. Having a school right at your doorstep is also handy!!
